Two film students create a short-cut to induce hallucinogenic visions of God, and find themselves hunted by a deadly religious sect.

A fun one today – but it does introduce some interesting angles to explore in relation to Megabrain. If all our brains are connected, what happens to instances of neurological malfunction, or a brain hack? Could it spread through the whole system and cause humanity-wide glitches? Or could it instead be isolated, and fail over to a redundant cortex, like a server crash?

I’d also love to hear from any neuroscientists on the feasibility of this premise. How far away from reality is this, leaving aside the theological aspects for the moment? Let me know at, or leave a comment below. Super-curious!
